Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist with 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical chemical manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC (Gas Chromatography), along with a sound understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and other analytical instruments.
Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with GMP and GLP guidelines.
Ensure timely sampling, testing, and reporting of results as per production and quality timelines.
Conduct method development and validation for new products as per regulatory requirements.
Investigate and troubleshoot instrumental issues or out-of-specification (OOS) results.
Maintain proper documentation of all test results in compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, ICH, etc.).
Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, etc.
Coordinate with the production and QA teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements
1-3 years of experience in QC within a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing setup.
Hands-on experience with analytical instruments like HPLC and GC is mandatory.
Sound understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.
Good documentation practices and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of method validation, stability studies, and instrument troubleshooting is an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
