We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager – Food Industry with 8 to 12 years of relevant experience to lead and manage end-to-end procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, and compliance within the food/FMCG/manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, ingredients, and indirect spends in line with business objectives.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliable supply.
Manage supplier relationships, contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Drive cost reduction initiatives, value engineering, and strategic sourcing projects.
Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supplier performance to mitigate risks.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality norms, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Collaborate with production, quality, finance, R&D, and logistics teams for demand planning and forecasting.
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance efficiency and performance.
Prepare and present MIS reports related to procurement savings, vendor performance, and spend analysis.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8–12 years of procurement experience, preferably in the food, FMCG, or food processing industry.
Strong knowledge of food raw materials, packaging materials, and supplier ecosystems.
Proven negotiation, contract management, and vendor development skills.
Experience with ERP/SAP or other procurement systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
8–12 years of procurement experience, preferably in the food, FMCG, or food processing industry.
