Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We are looking for a dynamic, child-centric, and experienced Principal to lead and manage our playschool in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in early childhood education, a passion for nurturing young minds, and the ability to manage a team and build positive relationships with parents and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership:
Oversee curriculum planning and implementation in accordance with early childhood learning principles.
Ensure quality teaching and learning outcomes across all age groups (Playgroup, Nursery, Jr. & Sr. KG).
Conduct teacher training, mentoring, and classroom observations to maintain academic standards.
Administrative Duties:
Manage daily operations of the school including staffing, scheduling, and reporting.
Handle budgeting, fee collection, and expense management in coordination with the accounts team.
Ensure proper maintenance of infrastructure, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Parent Engagement:
Interact with parents regularly through PTMs, events, and informal communication.
Address concerns, feedback, and maintain a high level of parent satisfaction.
Staff Management:
Hire, train, and supervise teachers and support staff.
Conduct periodic evaluations and encourage professional development.
Events & Compliance:
Organize school functions, annual days, and celebrations.
Ensure compliance with education regulations and internal policies.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Education or related field (Early Childhood Education preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a preschool setting with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Strong understanding of preschool curriculum frameworks (Montessori, Play-way, EYFS, etc.)
Fluency in English and local language (Marathi/Hindi) is preferred.
