Physical Education Teacher

We are looking for a Physical Education (PE) Teacher for our CBSE-affiliated residential school in Satara, who is passionate about fitness, student wellness, and sports education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, school sports programs, and experience working in a residential school setup.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular PE classes for Grades 1 to 10, focusing on fitness, motor skills, and sportsmanship.

Plan and organize indoor and outdoor sports activities, games, and physical training sessions.

Identify and train students for interschool competitions and sports events.

Manage the school’s sports equipment and infrastructure.

Ensure safety protocols are followed during all physical activities.

Promote healthy living and wellness habits among students.

Take responsibility for morning drills, evening games, and weekend activities as part of the residential program.

Collaborate with other staff members for event planning (Annual Sports Day, camps, tournaments, etc.).

Maintain student discipline and a positive sporting culture within the school.

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed.)

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a CBSE or residential school

Good communication skills and ability to handle students from multiple age groups

Familiarity with CBSE norms and physical education assessments

Willingness to stay on campus and participate in hostel/student life supervision

Key Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities

Sports coaching in at least 2-3 disciplines (e.g., athletics, football, volleyball, yoga)

Discipline and time management

Enthusiastic, energetic, and student-friendly personality
