Design Engineer

Dear Candidate,

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems, preparing technical drawings, and supporting project teams in delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design HVAC systems (including ducting, piping, and equipment layout) as per project requirements.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.

Perform heat load calculations using software such as HAP, TRACE, or similar tools.

Select equipment like AHUs, FCUs, chillers, VRF/VRV units, and exhaust systems as per project specifications.

Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and implementation.

Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and design documentation.

Coordinate with clients and consultants for design approvals and revisions.

Ensure compliance with ISHRAE standards, ASHRAE codes, and safety regulations.

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

2 to 4 years of experience in HVAC design and drafting.

Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or BIM tools is an advantage.

Hands-on experience with HAP, Carrier E20-II, or similar HVAC design software.

Strong understanding of HVAC principles, codes, and standards.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
