Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We are hiring for An Installation Engineer for Cold-rooms who would be responsible for the proper installation and setup of cold storage systems, ensuring they meet specific temperature requirements and operational needs. This involves coordinating with in-house and vendor teams for assembling, connecting, and commissioning the various components of the cold room, including refrigeration units, insulation panels, doors, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities: •
Planning and Preparation: Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations to prepare for the installation, ensuring proper site preparation and material availability. Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets. •
Installation Oversight: Supervising cold room installation activities and ensuring adherence to specifications. Coordinating with in-house and vendor teams for assembling the cold room panels, connecting refrigeration units, wiring electrical components, and installing doors and control systems.
Contractor Management: Selecting and managing contractors for cold room installations.
Technical Expertise: Providing technical guidance and solutions throughout the project.
Budget Management: Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to the budget.
Quality Assurance: Implementing and monitoring quality control processes.
Commissioning and Testing: Performing initial tests to ensure the cold room operates within the specified temperature range and parameters, including calibrating temperature sensors and controllers. •
