Chemistry Teacher

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to teach Grades 8 to 10 under the CBSE curriculum at our school in Satara. The ideal candidate should have sound subject knowledge, strong classroom presence, and a passion for teaching science.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach Chemistry concepts as per the CBSE syllabus for classes 8 to 10.

Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, demonstrations, and lab activities.

Simplify complex topics in a way that students can easily understand.

Design and evaluate assignments, projects, and periodic assessments.

Prepare students for CBSE board exam pattern, with focus on conceptual clarity and application-based learning.

Maintain academic records and track student performance.

Organize and supervise laboratory experiments with proper safety protocols.

Participate in school activities, PTMs, and science exhibitions.

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry or Science (B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry).

B.Ed. (preferred or pursuing).

Around 1 year of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.

Good command of English (spoken and written).

Familiarity with the CBSE syllabus and examination structure.

Key Skills:
In-depth subject knowledge of Chemistry for middle and high school

Effective classroom management and communication

Practical lab handling skills

Creative and student-friendly teaching approach

Basic tech skills for using smartboards or online content (if applicable)
